CLAY – A new name, new building.




In the Spring of 2014 Designbolaget was approached by the Museum of Ceramic Arts in Fyn, Denmark. They had just been given the Royal Copenhagen’s historic collection of over 40.000 pieces of porcelain and in this context was extending their current space with an underground exhibition space. The extension was designed by Kjaer & Richter and opened by Her Royal Majesty of Denmark in May 2015.

 

Designbolaget created a visual identity based on a custom made typeface with features reflecting techniques used in the production of ceramic and porcelain. The identity contains name, logo, stationary, font, signage, printed matter and website.
