Listen. Make. Play. The Sonos Studio provides the opportunity to come together with game changing artists, creators and thinkers. EIGA created the visual identity for this event series visiting New York, Amsterdam and Paris.
The flexible identity system is built on: A) a graphical interpretation of acoustic foam tiles as used in the interior of the original Sonos Studio L.A., B) a deconstructed brand typeface, and C) stage light glows to illuminate the performing speakers and artists. This system was applied to various digital and offline assetts as well as an orientation system at Neue House, New York.
The Sonos Studio NYC was open to the public for a weeklong exploration of the intersection of music, art and technology featuring conversations and live performances with e.g. Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire, Designer John Maeda (MIT Media Lab), Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange), rock band Spoon or a build your own speaker workshop with Autodesk.
