MetaDesign, a global branding and design firm, today announced its role in designing the identity, brand platform and website for Teachscape, a leader in delivering web-based professional learning content, innovative technologies, and expert services to improve teaching practice.
"Teachscape has evolved significantly over the years which prompted the need for a brand repositioning," said Sean Ketchem, Strategy Director of MetaDesign. “They were looking for a way to communicate their updated strategy, focus and product offer. MetaDesign developed a brand strategy to address this goal both visually and verbally."
An extensive brand audit including in-depth interviews with the Teachscape leadership team aided MetaDesign in establishing the brand core, “Igniting Excellence.” Through this process, MetaDesign created the statement “Great teachers create inspired learners” to provide a cohesive platform to support and unify Teachscape’s breadth of products and services. The visual design system is based on the concept “Resonate” with dots progressing in scale from left to right to symbolize growth and transformation, as well as evoke the ripple effect of knowledge shared over a vast network.
The new website features clear navigation, focused content and a clean user interface that serves to support teach effectiveness with the goal to improve student achievement.
